Three generations of public offices of Koga-shi. The change of the history of Koga-shi.

Meiji 4: It became Koga Prefecture by establishment of prefectural system, and the former feudal clan Lord's Mr. Doi became the merit of Koga Prefecture as it is.
Meiji 4: The Restoration government streamlined ken in November and Koga Prefecture was absorbed by Imba Prefecture. Mr. Doi had the job dispelled and he left the place of appointment in Koga over about 150 years.

Meiji 6: Imba Prefecture was abolished and Chiba Prefecture was placed. Koga became the Chiba jurisdiction.
Meiji 8: The towns and villages of Chiba Prefecture north of Tonegawa were included in Ibaragi Prefecture.
Meiji 12: The Nishi Katsushika County was placed and Koga belonged to it. The county public office was established in Sakai-cho in Sashima, and was called "Nishi Katsushika County Sashima public office."

Meiji 20: The Koga town office full two-story house Western style wooden [ for north ] was built in the 2 chome ground of a new Sakairi mouth.
Showa 3: The Koga town office relocated to the old city office.
Showa 62: The old city office relocated to the new city office.
